Welcome to the world my Baby Love, Gary!

Yes indeed, I gave birth to this cute little girl last December 21, 2013 in Balayan Bayview Hospital and Medical Center here in Balayan, Batangas. Her name is Erin Margarette, but we love calling her Gary. She weighs 2.44kilos. What a small little angel. :)

When I first drawn my eyes on her, i felt complete. I cried. Hindi ko maexplain pero sobrang saya ko. Ako na yata ang pinakamasayang tao sa mundo. I conceive her for 9 long months,.  took care of her even when she's still at my tummy. And now that she's here, I promised to take care of her until to my last breath. I love her, I love her so much!

When I was young, I always play Mother and Daughter Story, I portray to be just like my mother, Inay Elena, in caring my doll as my daughter named Kiara. I fed her, take her to bath, play with her, change her clothes. As simple as that. But now that Gary is here, I realized that being a mother is not that simple. That's why I am so thankful to my mom,  because her duty in taking care of her 6 children was not that easy.

Honestly, takot pa ako, I am afraid facing my new phase of life. Being a mother to Gary. She's so little and fragile. But seeing her yawn and smile makes me so happy to the fullest. But when she cries, I feels so paranoid. I never thought that Gary would change my life. It is indeed a life changing when you gave birth and be a mom!

I am a mother, Nanay na ako. I read this quote a while ago and says,

"The bond that a child develops with his mother can never be severed. You grew as an organism inside her for nine months. She carried you and sustained you, sharing her sustenance with you through your umbilical cord. When you are born the cord is severed. It is never severed in her heart. That bond lasts forever. As we grow up we become our own people and may come to forget that woman who nurtured and loved us. But remember this, she will never forget you and never stop loving you."

Being a mom holds  a lot of responsibilities, that's why I love my mother so much!

If mothers could put all of their mothering experience on their resume, it would be a mile long.

I watched my Mom fill out an application.
I looked at the line that asks about past professions.
I thought to myself, that space is too small
To write down what she's been, to cover it all.
She was a nurse when I fell and scraped my knee.
She was a maid when I didn't wipe my feet.
She was a designer when my clothes didn't match.
She was a tailor when my pants needed a patch.
She was a teacher when I asked a question.
She was a priest when I had a confession.
She was a psychiatrist when I came home crying.
She was a preacher when I got caught lying.
She was a singer when she sung me to sleep.
She was a lifeguard when she said the water's too deep.
There are many more, yet the best one to me,
She was a best friend and mine forever she'll be.
